Tal Gallery was founded by the Greenfeld family in the memory of their son Tal, a young artist who died at age twenty three, leaving a collection of more than eighty paintings and hundreds of drawings. Since 2002 Tal Gallery performs in cooperation with the Kfar Vradim Artists Forum, representing about fifty local artists living and creating in Kfar Vradim. The Gallery exhibits changing group and single exhibitions of Israeli artists together with exhibitions from Tal works collection. Tal Gallery, hosted several group exhibitions of Jewish and Arab artists from the vicinity of the Western Galilee area and an exhibition in cooperation with the Jewish community in Belgium. The Gallery activities are performed by volunteers, including artists and curators from among the local artists. The Gallery indents to give opportunity to young promising artists, bringing Israeli Contemporary Art to the local audience and initiating Art projects in the community. The Gallery exhibits 6-7 exhibition each year, performs festive openings, Gallery talks with the artists, Art lectures, visitng tours, Studends visits and education. Art project outside the Gallery like presenting exhibition at the israeli Art Fair at "Reding" in Tel-Aviv. Map |
